Access to Scientometric databases in NaUKMA

The National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy together with other universities of Ukraine received access to the Scientometric databases of Web of Science and Scopus in accordance with the order of the Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science "On access to higher educational and scientific institutions to electronic scientific databases".

The National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy together with other universities in Ukraine received access to Scientific databases of Web of Science and Scopus in accordance with the order of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science # 1286 dated by 19.09.2017 "On granting access for higher educational institutions and scientific institutions, which work in the field of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine's management, to electronic scientific databases ". Higher educational establishments and scientific institutions were selected by a specially created Commission, which included representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the State Scientific and Technical Library and the universities and research institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Scopus is an international reference and science-based database from Elsevier that indexes peer-reviewed literature: about 22,800 scientific journals, 150,000 books, conference materials, etc. NaUKMA provides permanent access to the base from December 2016.

Access - in the university's local network.

Web of Science Core Collection is a collection of scientometric databases hosted by Clarivate Analytics's Web of Science platform. Access to Web of Science is organized in NaUKMA from January 2016. Now we have access to all the indexes of scientific citation of the Web of Science Core Collection, as well as Journal Citation Reports (1997-2016). Access - in the university's local network / remote authorization (after registration in the network)

The use of Scopus and Web of Science Scientometric databases in research activities is the ability to follow international research, receive relevant and high-quality information on your subject, collaborate with foreign partners, and receive citation data.

We also remind that NaUKMA is giving prizes for publishing in scientific journals indexed by Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus. More information on the calculation of the prize, as well as all who received the prize, can be found at the link.

According to the scientific basis of Scopus, an annual rating of NaUKMA scientists is made.
