SCIENTOMETRICS IN NaUKMA

    Scientometrics is engaged in quantitative research of scientific documents, in particular, such as:

• evaluation of scientific productivity by counting the number of publications

• assessment of scientific recognition by counting the number of citations

• visualization of scientific networks and subject areas by analyzing the structure of the citation of scientific documents

Scientometric data is often used to supplement expert assessments, as well as to address scientific management issues at various levels , for example, for the conclusion of influential international university ratings, such as:

• Academic Ranking of World Universities («Шанхайський рейтинг»)

• THE World University Rankings

• QS World University Ranking

According to the Order of the President of NaUKMA, the regular analysis of the NaUKMA profiles in Scopus and Web of Science  databases was introduced. 

As a result of this analysis, the annual "Ratings of KMA scientists, divided in faculties and departments" are concluded.

NaUKMA also has the Regulations on the awarding of NaUKMA employees for publishing research papers in journals that are indexed in the international science and technology databases of Web of Science Core Collection and (or) Scopus. View listings over the past few years here.
