Good news for historians and culturologists! During February 2018 the NaUKMA community will be able to use test access to the East View database.

The East View database contains sources from the social sciences and the humanities, military subjects, news agencies of Russia and CIS countries, central and regional Russian periodicals, and periodicals of the CIS countries.

This database will also be useful for researchers of the Soviet heritage, since East View contains collections of such Soviet periodicals as: "Pravda" - a newspaper founded in 1912, which for a long time was the daily central source of the Bolshevik Party and the most influential Soviet newspaper, in fact, the main newspaper in Soviet Union; and "Izvestia" - Soviet and Russian socio-political and business daily newspaper, founded in March 1917.

Test access to the East View database will be available from February 1 to February 28, 2018 - in NaUKMA local network.
