NaUKMA awarded scholars for publishing in editions that are indexed in science-based databases

In December 2017, another prize of NaUKMA scientists was issued for publications in editions indexed in the science-computer database of Web of Science and / or Scopus.

In accordance with Order No. 572 of December 18, 2017, 17 employees of NaUKMA received awards for publication:

I wish Yuri, Bilko Denis, Bilko Nadiya, Bugrova Olena, Burban Anatoliy, Jozhik Oleg, Dovga Larisa, Dudenko Margarita, Kolesnik Iryna, Konovalova Viktoriya, Lazarenko Julia, Lukyanenko Iryna, Oliynik Bogdan, Rusu Irina, Savchuk Elena, Stepukro Tetyana and Furatat Irina.

In total, 19 publications in editions, indexed in Web-of-Science Core Collection and / or Scopus's science-computer databases, were submitted for publication in the NaUKMA Scientific Library's monitoring activity.

We remind that in March 2016, NaUKMA approved the Regulations on bonuses for publications in editions that are indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (except Emerging Sources Citation Index) and (or) Scopus.

The corresponding prizes are nominated by NaUKMA President twice a year according to the results of the publication activity of NaUKMA employees for the current period (from December 1, last year to June 1, current year and from June 2, current year until December 1 of the current year).

The amount of the bonus is calculated for each publication separately, and when determining its size, account shall be taken of:

a) the number of publications by the employee in the publications included in the Scopus database and the Web of Science Core Collection (except Emerging Sources Citation Index);

b) number of co-authors of publications;

c) quartile magazine according to Scopus and / or Web of Science.

In general, since the introduction of the new Provision on bonuses, there were four bonuses, which resulted in the publication of 48 paper-based publications in Web of Science and / or Scopus 48 academic researchers at NaUKMA for 79 publications.
